Fly direct from London Stansted to Pula Airport with Ryan Air

Pula airport is only 45 minutes from Rovinj by car and we can arrange a taxi or private car to pick you up from as little as £30 each way.

Pula Airport

There isn't a whole lot at Pula airport. Don't expect a large selection of shops or anything. There is one solitary cash machine which probably charges for the service (as some cash machines in shops do in the UK).

Trieste Airport

Ryanair also flys direct from London Stansted to Trieste airport in Italy. For detailed driving directions from and to Trieste Airport click here. Trieste airport is relatively small as airports go – don’t rely on a huge array of shops – there aren’t any. That said there’s a café selling beverages and snacks, a newsagent, and cash points.

There are car hire companies at Trieste airport, as well as a coach service which will take you directly into Trieste Bus Station. From there you can get a coach to Rovinj arriving at about 6.30 pm. On Sundays the coach does not connect with the Ryan Air flight to London in either direction.

Airport pick-up

Parking in Rovinj

The closest car park to the apartment is the main (seafront) car park. Press the button at the automatic barrier and take the ticket in order to enter the car park. When you’re ready to leave present your ticket at the car park kiosk and pay your parking fee – you’ll need the ticket again at the barrier.

There is limited free parking the other side of town, near the swimming pool (drive right into the centre of Rovinj, past the taxi rank, past the "tobacco factory" on the left, past the boat yard on the right and the car rental office. Free parking is on the left under all the trees.

There are no cars allowed in the Old Town. In summer finding a parking place can be difficult.

Meeting our representative in Rovinj

We will send you the telephone number of Sanja (pronounced San-Ya), our representative in Rovinj, so that you can ring shortly before you arrive.

Sanja will meet you, show you to the apartment, and answer any questions you may have. Sanja will also need to see your passport so that she can register you as a tourist - this is a legal requirement for all visitors to the town.

Sanja will most likely ask you to meet her by the police station, or in the town square. Both are marked on the map (right), along with the location of the apartment. Click here for a full size version you can print and take with you.
